OhioMATYC Scholarship

OhioMATYC will award 1 student scholarship (worth $300) this year. Each qualifying institution (institutions that employ at least one active member of OhioMATYC) may nominate one student, and institutions with 8 or more current members may nominate two students. The winner will be chosen by random draw at the executive meeting in the Spring.

Rudy Sattler Memorial Scholarships

OhioMATYC awards 2 Rudy Sattler Memorial Scholarships each year to outstanding developmental mathematics students. Each scholarship is worth $100. Each qualifying institution (institutions that employ at least one active member of OhioMATYC) may nominate one student. The 2 winners are chosen by random draw at the executive meeting in the Spring.

A process for naming memorial scholarships has been established. The individual being honored must be or have been an OhioMATYC member. Any funds donated in someone’s name will be added to one of the aforementioned OhioMATYC scholarships at the rate of $100/year (for a total scholarship of $400 or $500) until the funds run out.

The deadline for both scholarships is Friday, March 29, 2024.
